'''Swarna Kumari Devi Ghosal''' (1857-1933) was the leading force behind the creation of the [[Ladies’ Theosophical Society]] Branch at Calcutta, of which she was the Secretary. She was the wife of Theosophist Babu J. N. Ghosal and daughter of the venerated Babu Devendro Nath Tagore.
