D. P. Kotwal was a Pakistani Theosophist who knew Helena Petrovna Blavatsky in the early days of the Theosophical Society.

Gool Minwalla wrote in 1953,

The Karachi Lodge lost, during the year, its oldest and founding member, Mr. D. P. Kotwal at the age of 87 years. Mr. Kotwal was one of the few recently living members who had met the Founder Madame Blavatsky, personally. He devoted his entire life to the work of the Theosophical Society and hundreds of members have been inspired and guided by him in Theosophical work.[1]
