Mathieu Hubertus Josephus Schoenmaekers (December 13, 1875, Maastricht - December 18, 1944, Laren) was a Dutch Theosophist and mathematician who developed the philosophical principles applied in the artistic movement called neoplasticism or the De Stijl movement.
