The Messenger is a name that has been used by two different periodicals.

  • It was the journal of the American Theosophical Society, published from June, 1913 to November, 1927. Initially it was produced in the new Krotona colony in Hollywood, California by the Society's president, A. P. Warrington. His successors in that office continued issuing the publication from other locations. A highly useful supplement that was printed in 1917 and some other years was the "Statistical year Book and Directory," a report by the National Secretary with financial reports, brief reports from the ATS departments and many lodges, and a directory of lodge locations.
