Contexto y antecedentes

Antes de abandonar el picnic, Sinnett escribió unas líneas de agradecimiento al Mahatma y le dio la nota a HPB. Él y la Sra. Sinnett salieron primeros, de modo que él no tenía idea de cuándo o cómo ella transmitió esta nota. Él todavía se sentía un poco decepcionado de que el Mahatma no hubiera respondido a su nota escrita antes de que el grupo partiera hacia el picnic.

Sin embargo, esa noche, cuando los Sinnett y sus invitados se sentaron a cenar, Sinnett desdobló su servilleta y esta carta cayó de allí. La referencia a su desilusión se refiere, por supuesto, a esa nota anterior y K.H. explica por qué era innecesario responderla.

Descripción física de la carta

La carta original está en el Folio 1 de la Biblioteca Británica. Según George Linton y Virginia Hanson:

CM-3C está en dos hojas pequeñas de papel de aproximadamente 4 "X 7" [10,2 x 17,8 cm], con tinta y escritura similar a partes de A y B. Las tres notas fueron recibidas por A.P.S. el mismo día. [1]
