Point Loma, California is a hilly peninsula within the city of San Diego that helps to define the San Diego Bay, separating it from the Pacific Ocean. It was the location of the Point Loma Theosophical community from 1900-1942. It is now home to several small neighborhoods, Naval installations, and Point Loma Nazarene University.
