H. M. Stevens was one of the founding members of the Theosophical Society. On September 8, 1875, a meeting took place to organize the Society. Mr. Stevens was appointed along with Henry J. Newton and Charles Sotheran to a committee instructed to draft a constitution and bylaws for the organization. Nothing else is known of Mr. Stevens.
