Genevieve Ludlow Griscom (1868-1958) was married to Clement Acton Griscom, Jr.. The Griscoms became members of the Theosophical Society in America, (later renamed Theosophical Society) headed by Ernest Temple Hargrove.

She was born Genevieve Sprigg Ludlow on July 27, 1868 on Staten Island.[1] She married Clement Griscom in New York on September 18, 1889.[2] They had two sons, Ludlow, born in New York City on June 17, 1891, and Acton, born August 13, 1892 in Flushing, New York.

Theosophical work

Mrs. Griscom wrote articles under the pseudonym "Cavé" that appeared in the Theosophical Quarterly, Theosophy, and The Beacon. The Union Index of Theosophical Periodicals lists 95 articles under the name Cave and 11 articles under the name Cavé (L Genevieve Griscom).
