Bhavani Rao or Bhavani Shanker, a [[Chela|chela]] who lived for a while at the headquarters of the [[Theosophical Society|TS]] in [[Bombay, India|Bombay]]. He was present there with [[Helena Petrovna Blavatsky|HPB]] and others at the time of the [[The Vega Incident|"Vega incident"]] connected with the medium [[William Eglinton|Eglinton]]... He traveled some with [[Henry Steel Olcott|HSO]] about India and was with him at [[Allahabad, India]] at the [[A. P. Sinnett|APS]] home at the time of the [[Plaster Plaque (phenomenon)|plaster cast phenomenon]] on March 11, 1881.
