Mathieu Hubertus Josephus Schoenmaekers (13 December 1875, Maastricht - 18 December 1944, Laren) was a Dutch Theosophist and mathematician who developed the neoplatonic philosophical principles applied in the artistic movement called neoplasticism or the De Stijl movement.
