New Thought was a philosophical movement that arose in the United States during the 19th century. Some of the people associated with this movement were also Theosophists, or were of interest to people in the Theosophical Movement, including William Walker Atkinson, Ella Wheeler Wilcox, Carl Henrik Andreas Bjerregaard, and W. J. Colville.
