The term star refers to several concepts:

  • Pentagram – a five-pointed star associated with several religious traditions, with Kabbalah and magic.
  • Star of David or Magen David – a hexagram, the compound of two equilateral triangles, used as a symbol in Judaism.
  • Order of the Star in the East (OSE) – an organization established by the leadership of the Theosophical Society (Adyar), India, from 1911 to 1927, with the mission was to prepare the world for the expected arrival of a World Teacher.
