Mr. Sinnett, I perform my last duty, and am obliged to do so. Mrs. Holloway asked me whether she could go to Windsor and I said I saw no reason why she should not take rest — that the only order I had received and which I know was in my Master's letter to you was that she should sleep at Mrs. Arundale every night, that she should come, in short to live at their house if she wanted to write her book. Now if she contravenes the Master's Orders which are those of Mahatma К. H. I wash my hands of all. But I must tell you plainly that Mrs. H. having been sent from America here by the Master's wish who had a purpose in view -- if you make her go astray and force her unwittingly into a path that does not run in the direction of the Master's desire - then all communication between you and Master К. H. will stop. I am ordered to tell you so. You do not know what you are doing! You are ruining the L.L. Theos. Soc. and playing into the hands of Mrs. Kingsford and your enemies. Remember I never was more serious than I am now. Were the Society to fall; I must do my duty.
I verily believe you want to run to your ruin. |
