Read the enclosed from C.C.M.; summon to your recollection, and then tell Sinnett the whole truth about the message which I gave you in London about the £100 in Mrs. Billing's and Upasika's presence. Do not forget to state the conditions under which I spoke. Do not let H.P.B. see C.C.M.'s letter but return it to Allahabad with your remarks. |

The original is in the British Library, Folio 3. George Linton and Virginia Hanson described the letter this way:
ML 91A is in blue pencil on a small sheet of note paper with rough edges, 5" X 7" [12.7 X 17.8 cm]. Heavy KH script.[1]
