According to Readers Guide to The Mahatma Letters to A. P. Sinnett:

Dharbagiri Nath, apparently the mystical name for a chela of KH, whose real name may have been Gwala K. Deb... A brother chela of Chandra Cusha. There is much mystery connected with the relationship between this chela and a younger one by the name of Babaji, or Bawaji, who is supposed to have lent his body at various times to Dharbagiri nath. The real Dharbagiri Nath was a chela of some 14 years standing, whereas Babaji as only a probationary chela. ML index; OW, p. 222; LMW I: 132; LBS, pp. 166-173, 338, 342. [1]
