Titles of wiki articles about books, periodicals, and art works should be rendered in italics, followed by the form of the work in parentheses.

A Mediawiki template called {{DISPLAYTITLE}} is used for this purpose, placed at the top or bottom of the article. For example, to italicize the title of the article for H. P. Blavatsky's journal Lucifer, add this line:

{{DISPLAYTITLE: ''Lucifer'' (periodical)}}

In this example, the title of the article is placed in the DISPLAYTITLE template, and two single quotes are placed before and after the word "Lucifer" to force italics. On the page for that article, the title will be rendered:

Lucifer (periodical)
