Julia van der Planck was married to Dr. Archibald Keightley. Using name "Jasper Niemand" she wrote many articles in Theosophical periodicals. She and her husband were active in the Theosophical Society in America, later renamed Theosophical Society, headed by Ernest Temple Hargrove in New York.
