Pantheism is a term derived from the compound Greek pân (πᾶν) "all", and theós (θεός) "God". It refers to the view that the Universe (or Nature) and God (or divinity) are identical. Pantheists do not believe in a personal, anthropomorphic god. This is different from panentheism which maintains that the divinity is the universe but also extends beyond it.
