The Philalethians are students of the ancient wisdom working in the United Kingdom and Greece. Through their website, they offer beautifully illustrated Study Notes, reprints of articles, and original books online.

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky used the term. She referred to Dr. J. D. Buck as "a true Philaletheian" in her book, The Key to Theosophy, quoting from an article he published in The Theosophist (September 1883, p. 327) titled "The Ethics of Theosophy."[1]
