Context and background
Mr. Jinarajadasa provided these notes about this letter:
Transcribed from the original at Adyar, which has the following attached to it on a card in the handwriting of Colonel Olcott: ‘Note to H.S.O. from Master K.H. to prepare him for a visit in the physical body, in his tent at Lahore.’ This second visit is described by Colonel Olcott in Old Diary Leaves, Third Series, p.42, and by Mr W.T. Brown, who was present with him, in his pamphlet, Some Experiences in India. The Messenger referred to is the [[Djual Khool|Master D.K.][2]
