Tekels Park

From Theosophy Wiki

Tekels Park was a Theosophical facility located south-west of London, in Camberley, England. It hosted various Theosophical meetings and seminars, as well as Federation weekends throughout the year.

The Estate featured several buildings open to guests and visitors, including “The Heights,” the Guest House, St. Francis Liberal Catholic Church, and a walled garden. The church was also designed to host meetings for the Co-Masonic order and other groups. A notable aspect of the Estate was its large meadow, designated a protected area for its distinctive botanical features.

History

"A small group of dedicated members began looking for a suitable site for communal living in the late 1920s. The Estate was acquired and Theosophists settled on it from the 1930s on. Ownership of the Tekels Park Estate was later transferred to the English Section of the Theosophical Society."[1]
