Dr. Franz Hartmann

His works include several books on esoteric studies; biographies of Jakob Böhme and Paracelsus; and a translation of the Bhagavad Gita into German. He was at one time a co-worker of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky and Henry Steel Olcott at the Adyar headquarters of the Theosophical Society. In 1896 he founded a German Theosophical Society, and was the editor of the journal Lotusblüten.
