Elliott B. Page was an early member of the Theosophical Society in the United States. He formed The Arjuna Lodge in St. Louis in 1882, and was appointed to the American Board of Control in 1884.

He corresponded with Thomas Moore Johnson, the "Missouri Platonist," and the letters have been published in Letters to the Sage.
