George Lane-Fox was a wealthy English industrial engineer who became an early member of the Theosophical Society and of the Society for Psychical Research. He was appointed to the Board of Control in 1884 and was mentioned in a letter from Mahatma Morya to Henry Steel Olcott.[1]
