Better send for Mr. and Mrs. Sinnett as soon as you can. A general consultation is necessary. His [Sinnett's] own reputation is at stake [in this Coulomb expose in India]. I will make his visit harmless. He is a changed man.

Context and background
Mr. A.P. Sinnett wrote of this period of time:
Towards the close of this we got a telegram from Mrs. Holloway at Elberfeld begging us to come on there after all. We did not feel at all disposed to do so under the circumstances and replied accordingly. Telegrams poured in upon us both from Mrs. Holloway and Mrs. Gebhard. We were assured they were acting by the Master's wish in begging us to come.[1]
The Coulomb "exposé" had occurred in India and some details of the scandal had been telegraphed to England and Europe.
