Dorothy Jinarājadāsa was an English feminist who was married to Curuppumullage Jinarājadāsa, the fourth president of the Theosophical Society based in Adyar, Chennai, India. Working with Margaret Cousins, she founded the Women's Indian Association.

Early life

Miss Dorothy M. Graham (listed as Mary D. Graham) married Mr. Jinarājadāsa in 1916 in Kensington.[1]

Other activities

Mrs. Jinarājadāsa was one of the first members of the Brothers of Service, predecessor to the Theosophical Order of Service. She also served as a Justice of the Peace for Madras [now known as Chennai].

Later years

Mrs. Jinarājadāsa died in Kensington early in 1963 at the age of 81.[2]

The Union Index of Theosophical Periodicals lists six articles by or about Mrs. Jinarājadāsa.
