Esther Bright was the editor of The Magnet, published 1918-28 in London. She was the daughter of Ursula M. Bright, who corresponded with Helena Petrovna Blavatsky.

She wrote to Boris de Zirkoff in 1954:

I am much interested in your work for giving to the world all you can of H.P.B.'s life and work. I only knew her for one year, but I remember her very well. I was only about 20 years of age. I remember the shock of her death on May 8. Annie Besant was out of England. That was tragic. I regret very much I cannot help you about H.P.B.'s letters. She only wrote to my mother once and we gave that letter to Annie Besant as she valued anything of H.P.B.'s so much. I remember I gave it to her in the garden of 19 Avenue Road and she held it lovingly in her hand and stroked it gently. She had a great love for H.P.B.[1]
