The recipient is probably Alkondavilli Govindacharya. Dobbspet is near Bangalore. He was a distinguished Tamil scholar and wrote several books. His moat important work was an English translation of the Bhagavad Gita with the commentary of Shri Rāmānujāchārya.[2]
