Thomas Taylor (1758-1835) was an English scholar who translated into English the complete works of Aristotle and of Plato, and also the Orphic fragments. His translations were very influential to such people as Ralph Waldo Emerson and G. R. S. Mead. His work was frequently published in The Platonist.
