Robert Vaughn was a St. Louis Theosophist and a painter of murals.
According to Charles E. Luntz, Sr., Mr. Vaughn designed the cover of a booklet celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the St. Louis Lodge: "[Vaughn was] a leading St. Louis Artist and one of our members. The quality of the work is indicated by the fact that Mr. Vaughn was the artist commissioned to paint the magnificent murals in the old courthouse, one of the ancient landmarks of this city."
