This letter is Letter No. 57 in Letters from the Masters of the Wisdom, First Series. Mahatma Narayan writes a brief greeting to A. Govindacharya.[1] In editions 1945-1974, before the First Series was resequenced in 1988, this was called Letter 44.

Context and background
Mr. Jinarajadasa provided these notes about this letter and the previous one:
The recipient is probably Alkondavilli Govindacharya. Dobbspet is near Bangalore. He was a distinguished Tamil scholar and wrote several books. His most important work was an English translation of the Bhagavad Gita with the commentary of Shri Rāmānujāchārya.[2]

The location of the original letter is not known.
Publication history
This letter was not published in the early editions of Letters from the Masters of the Wisdom, First Series. It first appeared as Letter 44 in the 1945 edition, and was renamed as Letter 57 when the First Series was resequenced in 1988.
