Letterhead used by A. Dharmapala in writing to Dr. J. D. Buck, October 30, 1896.

The Open Court Publishing Company was a Chicago-based publisher responsible for a weekly publication, The Open Court, and a quarterly journal, The Monist. in 1896, E. C. Hegeler was the President of the company, and Dr. Paul Carus was the editor. Anagarika Dharmapala had some connection to this company, as he used its letterhead to write to Dr. J. D. Buck in 1896, responding to a request for a speaking engagement.[1]
