  • 1851 – H. P. Blavatsky met her Teacher, Master M., for the first time in the physical body. This, according to what she wrote in her Sketchbook. However the date may have been a "blind".
  • 1880 – Rosa Bates and Edward Wimbridge, who had accompanied the Founders to India, left Bombay due to personal difficulties.
